Michael Guadagno & Associates provides Technical Surveillance Counter Measures [TSCM] and Espionage Detection Investigations.

We expertly hunt ‘real spies’ anywhere, for anyone who has an ethical and lawful purpose for doing so. We specialize in performing bug sweeps for residential, corporate, and government clients. We also conduct Bug Sweeps on any sea-craft,  aircraft, vehicle, hotel room, and any other structure where security and privacy are needed. We perform covert and clandestine investigations with the use of sophisticated high-tech electronic test equipment. We are capable of capturing RF signals exceeding government level type eavesdropping spy devices.

Our equipment is able to detect RF, VHF, UHF wireless spy applications (video/audio) including wire taps, carrier current, acoustic, infra-red, and laser spy applications.  Our TSCM cyber technicians are available to conduct a sweep to determine if someone is bugging you or your business.

We are able to find and expose illegal investigations and spies by detecting illegal surveillance or eavesdropping threats.

Is Your Phone Bugged or Tapped?

Look out for the following signs that you may have been a target of phone tapping:

  • Does word about “your activities” seem to get around before you tell anyone?
  • Do you come back to your office or home to “find signs” that someone has been nosing around?
  • Is there static, low tone or clicking noises and hang up calls with no caller ID displayed on any of your phones?

It might be nothing, or someone may have installed a “listening” and/or video device in your home or office. Homes and offices receive visits from a wide assortment of private contractors, delivery personnel, new found acquaintances, some of whom may be moonlighting eavesdroppers. Spies of all kinds can get access to most offices with a reasonable cover story.  They don’t even need to be a legitimate contractor or delivery man to get admitted into many homes and most apartment buildings.

Trust your instincts. If you feel as though you are being followed, someone is watching you or that your privacy is being compromised, you are probably right. Trouble may be headed your way.

Who Would Want to Bug Your Office or Home?

Thieves, kidnappers and blackmailers have been known to plant bugs to get information they need to commit a crime. It is not necessary to enter the premises to plant a listening device if someone wants to monitor your conversation. The eavesdropper can be listening from miles away. Any signal transmitted through the air can be compromised, for example,  cell phones, electronic mail, etc.

Business competitors across the street or down the hall may want to listen in to your private meetings. Divorce can be especially unpleasant when confidential personal or business matters get dragged into court. If you’re a socially prominent person, stalkers and paparazzi may feel they have the right to violate your privacy in order to make a few dollars by leaking details of your private life to the media.

Illegal Eavesdropping Works

Millions of dollars of eavesdropping equipment is imported into the United States each year. Private individuals don’t spend millions of dollars on this equipment not to use it. It is common knowledge that “illegal eavesdropping” works when other methods fail. Offices, conference rooms, home offices, bedrooms, and dining rooms are all places where sensitive conversations can be intercepted by electronic listening and video devices. Automobiles, Sea-craft and Aircraft are also targets for concealed audio/video devices. Today’s technology allows for remote tracking, listening, and video in “real time”, 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the world.

Annual “reported” intellectual property loss is approximately $200 billion a year

No business is exempt. Spys regularly steal information on pharmaceutical secrets, biotechnology, IT, engine design, trade secrets, any private design or advancement. Intelligence experts urge “strategy for the private sector”. The world is changing. There are no boundaries to protect us any longer. There are over 3,000 known agencies within the United States who employ personnel to spy on us for the advancement of foreign countries.

Doesn’t it cost a lot to check for wiretaps and hidden surveillance devices?

It’s not as expensive as you might think. An inspection to check for wiretaps and hidden surveillance devices  requires expensive electronic detection equipment operated by experienced technical professionals who have a government background in this field. Consider the cost of an inspection compared to the cost of your private information getting into the hands of unscrupulous business competitors, political opponents, or the media.

What information do you need to give us for a TSCM investigation proposal?

For wiretap/bugging inspections, we need to know:

  • How many telephone lines come into the office or residence?
  • How many telephones, fax and copy machines and computers are connected to telephone lines and service cables?
  • The number and size of the rooms, including ceiling height, and approximate square footage of the area to be checked.

What do you get when the inspection is finished?

We provide a full post-inspection verbal report to you. You get peace of mind and the truth about your situation from former government technical counterintelligence professionals who make eavesdropping detection their full-time business.
