At an international briefing of technical surveillance countermeasure (TSCM) professionals at the 10th Espionage Research International Institute (ERII) conference in Herndon, Virginia last month; Michael Guadagno, principal of Michael Guadagno & Associates, was appointed to the Institute’s elite six-person advisory board.

Mr. Guadagno is a 30 year veteran “spy hunter,” specializing in technical counterespionage investigations for corporations, individuals, and government agencies.

“With world economies competing for business, there is a significant and growing threat of corporate espionage and theft of proprietary information. I am honored to be serving an international organization dedicated to maintaining the highest level of corporate security to protect financial information, negotiations, trade secrets and business technologies,” said Mr. Guadagno.

ERII’s members are international practitioners of technical surveillance countermeasures who meet every year for a three day conference outside of Washington, D.C. to share information and discuss the latest security surveillance tactics not usually found outside the federal government.
